Oof, I’ve been working like a complete madman this week finishing up this table for Adam Garcia. Finished within two hours with a one week turn around time to present at a First Friday show at Union Pine. Does that sentence even make sense? Anyways here’s a quick sneak peak photo, full write-up soon.
Design and Fabrication Work
Glass Photobooth Frame
I’ve been hard at work the past couple of days finishing up this big rolling glass frame. It’s been a fun build, and I’m quite pleased with the process and final results. The client will be using it to shoot videos of artists, designers, and innovaters brainstorming/sketching on the glass. The amazing and talented Jon James Staton designed and managed the project.
Materials: glass, mdf, latex paint.
My hands. They are so dramatic.
I’ve got a quick update on the Oregon sculpture I assisted with a few months back. Some video was shot during the making of it and here’s one of the edits. A bit strange to see my own hands working in such dramatic fashion, but nonetheless, it was a fun build and would love to do it again.
Works in Progress
Doing my best to try to balance making things for myself and making things for other people. Here’s three projects I’m currently juggling at the shop; a wooden 2×4” bed frame, a repurposed side table/bench thingy, and a giant 7×6′ rolling glass picture frame for World Domination Summit. Keep busy and keep makin’!
